Forbort compiled two goals, 11 points, 39 shots on net, 77 blocked shots, 65 hits and 45 PIM across 54 regular-season appearances in 2024-25. He missed the final two games of the campaign due to a broken orbital bone, but he should be ready for the beginning of 2025-26.

  • Canucks' Anri Ravinskis: Grabs entry-level deal

Ravinskis agreed to terms on a two-year, entry-level contract with Vancouver on Thursday.

Ravinski split his time between HPK Hameenlinna and Kettera Imatra this season, logging a combined 16 goals and 22 helpers in 50 contests. With his entry-level deal in hand, the 22-year-old winger will likely link up with AHL Abbotsford for the bulk of the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Canucks' Derek Forbort: Undergoes surgery

Forbort underwent minor surgery to repair a broken orbital bone and is doing well, Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK reports Tuesday.

Forbort missed Vancouver's last two games of the season after sustaining his injury against Minnesota on April 12. The 33-year-old blueliner should be ready for the 2025-26 campaign, though he'll need a new contract, as he's set to be an unrestricted free agent this summer. Forbort contributed two goals, nine helpers, 77 blocked shots, 65 hits and 39 shots on goal over 54 appearances in his first season with Vancouver in 2024-25.

Willander will return to Boston University for his junior season, Farhan Lalji of TSN reports.

Willander has spent the last two years with the Terriers in the NCAA and the defenseman has recorded 49 points over 77 career games. The 20-year-old, selected with the 11th pick in the first round by the Canucks in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft, was a big reason why the team finished as the national runner-up this past year. Vancouver still holds his rights for two more years.

Chytil has completed the second season of his four-year, $17.75 million contract, which runs through 2026-27. He'll likely start next season serving in a middle-six capacity.

Raty was loaned to AHL Abbotsford on Thursday.

Raty tallied seven goals and four assists across 33 regular-season games with Vancouver in 2024-25. He will get some extra playing time in the AHL playoffs, and that will bode well for next year, when he should play a full season with Vancouver.

  • Canucks' Victor Mancini: Sent to minors

Mancini was demoted to AHL Abbotsford on Thursday.

  • Canucks' Nils Hoglander: Manages assist in loss

Hoglander notched an assist in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Golden Knights.

Hoglander racked up four points over the last six games of the season. The 24-year-old had a turbulent season at times, finishing with eight goals, 17 helpers, 83 shots on net, 76 hits, 30 PIM and a plus-5 rating over 72 appearances. He'll need to find a middle ground between his 24-goal, 36-point 2023-24 and this season's numbers, and even then, he's only an option in deeper fantasy formats.

  • Canucks' Conor Garland: Secures 50-point season

Garland notched an assist, three shots on goal and two PIM in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Golden Knights.

With the helper, Garland reached the 50-point mark for the second time in his career. He's posted between 46 and 52 points in each of his four years with the Canucks as a reliable top-six winger. This year, he added 171 shots on net, 49 hits, 58 blocked shots, 52 PIM and a minus-13 rating over 81 appearances. Garland was good this season and could be better in 2025-26, which will be a contract year for him.

The 28-year-old ended the regular season at 25 goals, 46 points, 138 shots on net, 59 hits, 43 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating across 81 appearances. He's a pending unrestricted free agent, but he's been a good fit with the Canucks, so general manager Patrik Allvin will likely want to get Suter to sign a new deal.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Takes loss in relief

Tolopilo allowed two goals on eight shots in relief of Kevin Lankinen (undisclosed) in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Golden Knights.

Tolopilo played the third period after Lankinen exited the game with a muscle strain. This was Tolopilo's second NHL appearance and his first loss -- he went 1-1-0 with three goals allowed on 24 shots over the last two games of the season. The 25-year-old goalie is likely to be reassigned to AHL Abbotsford to join that team's playoff run. When both Thatcher Demko and Lankinen are healthy, Tolopilo has no obvious path to NHL playing time.

Lankinen suffered an undisclosed muscle strain that forced him to exit Wednesday's game versus the Golden Knights, Thomas Drance of The Athletic reports.

Lankinen ends 2024-25 with a 25-15-10 record, a 2.62 GAA, a .902 save percentage and four shutouts over 51 appearances.
