  • Dolphins' Parry Nickerson: Signing with Miami

Nickerson agreed to sign with the Dolphins on Sunday, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.

Nickerson went unsigned after failing to win a roster spot with the Vikings in 2022, but he'll now have an opportunity to compete for a spot on the Dolphins' roster ahead of the 2023 campaign. He seems like a long shot to remain with Miami for the start of the regular season.

  • Parry Nickerson: Released by Vikings

The Vikings released Nickerson on Tuesday, Craig Peters of the Vikings' official site reports.

Nickerson sustained a lower leg injury in mid-August but tallied two solo tackles while playing 29 percent of the Vikings' defensive snaps during Saturday's preseason finale against the Broncos. While he seems to have moved past his prior injury, he'll be forced to seek out other opportunities ahead of the regular season.

The Vikings signed Nickerson (hamstring) to a contract Monday.

  • Packers' Parry Nickerson: Returning to practice

The Packers designated Nickerson (hamstring) for return from injured reserve Wednesday, Olivia Reiner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinelreports.

The transaction initiates a 21-day practice window for Nickerson, wherein the Packers can evaluate him for reinstatement to the 53-man roster. The third-year cornerback will likely contribute exclusively on special teams if he does get added to the roster for this weekend's NFC Championship Game against the Buccaneers or a potential Super Bowl appearance to follow.

Nickerson (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve by the Packers on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old exited Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay with the hamstring injury in his first action of the season, and he'll now spend at least the next three games on injured reserve. It's unclear how long Nickerson is expected to be sidelined by the injury.

  • Packers' Parry Nickerson: Exits contest Sunday

Nickerson (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Bucaneers.

This is tough news for Nickerson, as Sunday marked his first game active for the season as he had been a healthy scratch to this point. As long as the Tulane product is sidelined, look for Ka'dar Hollman and Chandon Sullivan to see a slight uptick in snaps.
