Knicks' Delon Wright: Quiet in Game 6 defeat
Wright finished Saturday's 125-108 loss to the Pacers in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals with two points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and one rebound over 12 minutes.
Wright logged double-digit minutes for the second straight game, during which he shot 0-for-6 from the field. He made five appearances in the club's 4-2 series loss to Indiana, averaging 1.4 points and 1.0 assists across 8.8 minutes per contest. The veteran guard is slated to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason after finishing the 2024-25 campaign with averages of 3.1 points, 1.9 assists, 1.7 rebounds and 0.9 steals across 15.9 minutes per contest in 40 regular-season games between New York and Milwaukee.

Knicks' Delon Wright: Rare appearance in Game 1 loss
Wright closed Wednesday's 138-135 overtime loss to Indiana in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals with no counting stats in zero minutes.
Wright made an appearance for just the second time these playoffs due purely to the fact Jalen Brunson was in foul trouble. Despite being a strong defender, Wright has been unable to carve out a consistent role in New York, which certainly isn't unusual for fringe players under Tom Thibodeau. Barring injuries to others, Wright will likely spend most of his time riding the pine.

Knicks' Delon Wright: Returning to bench Sunday
Wright won't start during Sunday's game against the Suns.
Jalen Brunson (ankle) will return from a 15-game absence Sunday, pushing Wright to the bench. The veteran guard has averaged 1.4 points and 1.2 assists across only 6.6 minutes per game in his last five appearances with the second unit.

Knicks' Delon Wright: Plays well in win
Wright closed with seven points (3-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals over 35 minutes during Sunday's 110-93 victory over Portland.
With Jalen Brunson (ankle), Miles McBride (ankle) and Cameron Payne (ankle) all on the shelf, the Knicks are still extremely thin in the backcourt. Wright is making the most of his opportunity. In his last two appearances, Wright has averaged 9.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 blocks, 1.5 steals and 1.5 three-pointers on a combined 8-for-15 shooting from the field.

Knicks' Delon Wright: Promoted to starting role
Wright will be in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Bucks, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
The Knicks are thin in their backcourt, as they'll be without Jalen Brunson (groin), Miles McBride (ankle) and Cameron Payne (ankle). This means Wright is essentially the "next man up" in the depth chart, so he'll get the nod as the nominal point guard. Wright has made just two starts this season, logging 27 and 33 minutes in a two-game stretch between Nov. 13 and Nov. 16 against the Pistons and Hornets, respectively. The Knicks went 1-1 in those games, with Wright tallying seven points, seven rebounds, 14 assists, three steals and three blocks in total.

Knicks' Delon Wright: Cleared to play Saturday
Wright (illness) is not on the injury report ahead of Saturday's game against the Warriors.
Wright popped up on Friday's injury report due to an illness, but he's recovered enough to be available for Saturday's contest. He'll serve in a rotational role in the backcourt off the bench while Miles McBride and Cameron Payne get most of the minutes due to the absence of Jalen Brunson (ankle).

Knicks' Delon Wright: Listed as questionable for Saturday
Wright is questionable for Saturday's game against the Warriors due to an illness.
While Wright is iffy to suit up against Golden State, he hasn't been a regular member of the rotation since landing in New York. Miles McBride should dominate the minutes at point guard for the Knicks on Saturday in Jalen Brunson's (ankle) stead.

Knicks' Delon Wright: Shipped to New York
The Bucks traded Wright and cash considerations to the Knicks on Wednesday for Jericho Sims as part of a deal that also landed Kyle Kuzma in Milwaukee and Khris Middleon (ankles) in Washington, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
After signing with the Bucks this offseason, Wright appeared in merely 26 games for Milwaukee and averaged just 2.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists across 15.6 minutes. He'll have a tough time earning minutes with the Knicks considering they have Cameron Payne, Miles McBride and Tyler Kolek.

Bucks' Delon Wright: Encouraging effort Monday
Wright closed Monday's 112-91 victory over the Bulls with nine points (3-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, five assists and two steals across 26 minutes.
This was an encouraging display for Wright, who had played just 12.7 minutes per game over his prior seven games for the Bucks. The 32-year-old guard is shooting a career-low 31.3 percent from the floor covering 21 appearances this season, so even though he notched a season-high nine points off the bench Monday, Wright doesn't appear to be the most attractive streaming option for fantasy managers in Damian Lillard's (illness) short-term absence.

Bucks' Delon Wright: Back to bench Monday
Wright is not in the Bucks' starting lineup for Monday's game against the Rockets.
Wright has started in each of the Bucks' last two games, but with Damian Lillard clearing concussion protocols, the former will retreat to the bench. In his last start Saturday against the Hornets, Wright finished with seven points, six assists, three rebounds, three blocks and one steal over 33 minutes.

Bucks' Delon Wright: Gets starting nod Wednesday
Wright is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pistons.
Wright will get the nod at point guard with Damian Lillard (concussion) and Ryan Rollins (shoulder) sidelined for this contest. Wright will combine with AJ Green to handle the point guard duties. This will be the first start of the season for the 10-year veteran.

Bucks' Delon Wright: Cut out of rotation
Wright (coach's decision) didn't receive any playing time in Friday's 116-94 loss to the Knicks.
For the second game in a row, Wright found himself outside of head coach Doc Rivers' rotation after he had previously appeared in each of Milwaukee's first seven contests of the season. However, Wright struggled to make much of an impact on the second unit, averaging just 2.1 points and 0.9 assists while shooting 42.9 percent from the floor across 13.0 minutes. AJ Green had first begun cutting into Wright's playing time a few games ago, but Rivers confirmed after Friday's contest that two-way player Ryan Rollins will also get more opportunities than Wright moving forward, per Tim Bontemps of ESPN.com.
