Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Ends power drought
McMahon went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 8-1 loss to the Mets.
McMahon had gone 22 games without a homer prior to Saturday, batting just .188 with a .237 slugging percentage and 9:24 BB:K in that span. The infielder broke the power drought with a game-tying solo shot in the fourth inning, but it was the lone run the Rockies had in this loss. McMahon has hovered just above the Mendoza Line over the last month and now has a .207/.316/.355 slash line with seven homers, 18 RBI, 24 runs scored and one stolen base across 62 contests this season.

Rockies' German Marquez: Gives up three homers in loss
Marquez (2-8) allowed four runs on eight hits and struck out three without walking a batter over five innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Mets.
Marquez allowed three of those four runs on solo home runs by Ronny Mauricio, Jared Young and Jeff McNeil. Prior to Saturday, Marquez had gone five starts (28 innings) without allowing a homer. He's given up a reasonable seven long balls across 13 starts this year, but he's also frequently gotten punished by balls that stayed in the yard, pitching to a 7.00 ERA. He's added a 1.68 WHIP and 41:21 K:BB over 63 innings as well, so Saturday's strong display of control shouldn't be considered the norm. Marquez is tentatively projected to make his next start at Atlanta.

The Rockies recalled Bouchard from Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday.
Bouchard will be brought up to bolster the Rockies' outfield depth after Mickey Moniak (personal) was placed on the bereavement list. He's regained his form at the plate in Albuquerque, where he is slashing .268/.388/.423 with two home runs and six RBI in 85 plate appearances.

Rockies' Chase Dollander: Set to start Sunday
Dollander will start for Colorado against the Mets on Sunday.
The Rockies shifted their rotation around a bit, moving German Marquez to Saturday while tabbing Dollander to start Sunday. It's not clear when Carson Palmquist, who had originally been deemed Saturday's starter, will take his next turn, though Christian Saez of TheDNVR.com reports that the rookie isn't dealing with any sort of injury. Dollander last pitched Tuesday, so he'll be working on four days of rest Sunday.

Rockies' Carson Palmquist: Not starting Saturday
The Rockies have named German Marquez as Saturday's starting pitcher versus the Mets.
Palmquist had originally been listed as Saturday's starter, but Marquez will get the nod instead. Per Christian Saez of TheDNVR.com, Palmquist isn't dealing with an injury -- instead, there was simply a miscommunication in lining up the rotation. Chase Dollander is now slated to start Sunday, so it's unclear when Palmquist will take his next turn as a starter.

Rockies' Mickey Moniak: Drives in two runs
Moniak went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and an RBI single in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Mets.

Rockies' Antonio Senzatela: Throws four scoreless frames
Senzatela didn't factor into the decision against the Mets on Friday, allowing three hits and four walks while striking out two across four scoreless innings.
Senzatela was brought in for the second inning after Ryan Rolison served as the opener. Senzatela had issues with his control and logged just 45 strikes on 84 pitches, but he got himself out of multiple jams and was able to do just enough to avoid being tagged for a run. He has a 6.68 ERA and 1.97 WHIP across 62 innings heading into his next start or bulk-relief appearance, tentatively slated for next week at home against the Giants.

Rockies' Zach Agnos: Takes second loss
Agnos (0-2) took the loss against the Mets on Friday after allowing two runs on two hits and one walk while striking out two in the ninth inning.
Agnos was brought in for the ninth, tasked with keeping the game tied at 2-2. He started off nicely by striking out Starling Marte, but Agnos proceeded to let the next two batters on base before giving up a two-run double to Francisco Lindor (toe). It marked the first time this season that Agnos yielded more than one run in an appearance, and the 24-year-old right-hander is up to a 2.37 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 10:3 K:BB across 19 innings.

The Rockies reinstated Agnos (personal) from the bereavement list Friday.

Rockies' Antonio Senzatela: Following opener Friday
Senzatela will follow Ryan Rolison during Friday's game against the Mets, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
The Rockies are using an opener for the first time this season and will give the ball to Rolison for an inning or two before letting Senzatela step in as a bulk reliever. The change might be what Senzatela needs to get back on track, as he's taken seven consecutive losses. He's posted an 8.82 ERA and 2.02 WHIP during that stretch.

Rockies' Ryan Rolison: Working as opener Friday
Rolison will open Friday's game against the Mets, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
Rolison will make his first big-league start Friday, but he'll likely only pitch an inning or two before handing the ball off to Antonio Senzatela. In seven appearances this season, Rolison has a 4.50 ERA spanning 10 innings.
